Jin Ju - Curriculum vitae

Il nome di Jin Ju si è fatto conoscere in ogni angolo del mondo dopo la trionfale performance in mondovisione davanti a 5000 spettatori presso la Sala Nervi di Città del Vaticano, dove ha suonato sette pianoforti d'epoca (dagli inizi del sec. XIX ai nostri giorni) per Sua Santità Benedetto XVI.

Vincitrice di importanti Concorsi Internazionali (Concorso Internazionale Rumeno di Bucarest, China National Piano Competition, UNISA International Piano Competition, Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Theodor Leschetizky, Beethoven Society Competition di Londra) e premiata nei prestigiosi concorsi Cajkovskij di Mosca e Reine Elisabeth di Bruxelles, Jin Ju ha suonato nei cinque continenti nelle più prestigiose sale da concerto, come la Konzerthaus di Berlino e Vienna, la Bridgewater Hall di Manchester, la Sala Grande del Conservatorio di Mosca e il Palais de Beaux Arts di Bruxelles, la Sala Verdi di Milano, il Teatro della Pergola di Firenze, ecc. Si è esibita inoltre nella Città Proibita (Pechino) e in tutte le principali sale da concerto della Cina.
Come solista ha collaborato ripetutamente con varie orchestre fra cui la BBC Orchestra, la Belgian National Orchestra, l’Orchestra Philarmonique de Lìege (Belgio), la Oslo Symphony Orchestra, la South Africa New Philharmonic, la Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, la Macao Symphony Orchestra, la Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, la Royal Northern College of Music, la Auckland Philarmonia Orchestra, la China National Symphony, la Russian State Symphony, la Wallonia Royal Chamber Orchestra, e molte altre.
I suoi concerti sono stati trasmessi in tutto il mondo, da NPR “Performance Today” negli USA, a "Sky Classica" in Italia; da "Canvas" in Belgio alla "BBC" in Inghilterra, e della televisione e dalla radio nazionale in Cina, ove i suoi programmi le hanno fatto ottenere premi speciali e importanti riconoscimenti dal Ministero della Cultura Cinese. Nel 2008 la Televisione di Stato Cinese CCTV ha realizzato un lungo ed approfondito documentario interamente dedicato alla sua vita e alla sua arte, trasmesso a più riprese sul canale tematico principale della nazione.
Il suo CD Frame (Italy www.quadroframe.com), contenente l’integrale degli Studi di Debussy, è stato recensito in maniera entusiastica dalle più importanti firme sulle riviste specializzate; è inoltre stato pubblicato un CD con la sua esecuzione dello Yellow River Piano Concerto inciso con la Macao Symphony Orchestra, Cd che ha ottenuto una diffusione enorme in tutta la Cina ed è stato inserito nella rosa dei primi 10 successi mondiali per la musica classica.
La Multigram Domo Video (www.domovideo.com) ha pubblicato un DVD con sue esecuzioni di musiche di Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin e Liszt.
Jin Ju è membro di facoltà al Conservatorio Centrale di Pechino e ha insegnato al Royal Northern Music College di Manchester. Ha tenuto inoltre numerose Master-Classes in Cina, Europa e Stati Uniti. Attualmente è docente presso l'Accademia Internazionale di Imola.
Fra i suoi prossimi impegni è prevista una tournée con I Virtuosi Italiani (assieme ai quali eseguirà i due Concerti di Chopin), quindi una tournée in Cina con la Macao Symphony Orchestra, ed altre tournées e concerti in Inghilterra, USA, Argentina, Francia e Germania.

Jin Ju - Bio

Jin Ju has gained widespread prominence around the globe since the worldwide telecast of her performance at Sala Nervi in Vatican City. On that occasion she played seven period instruments (fortepianos and pianos from the late XVIII to the early XX centuries) for His Holiness Benedict XVI in front of a 5000-strong audience.

Jin Ju has been the winner of important international contests (Romanian International Music Competition in Bucarest, China National Piano Competition, UNISA International Piano Competition, Theodor Leschetizky International Piano Competition in Taiwan, Beethoven Society Competition in London) and has been awarded prizes at the prestigious Cajkovskij (Moscow) and Reine Elisabeth (Brussels) competitions. Jin Ju has performed in the most celebrated concert halls of the five continents, such as in the Konzerthaus (Berlin and Vienna), the Bridgewater Hall (Manchester), the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, the Palais de Beaux Arts (Bruxelles), the Sala Verdi (Milano), the Teatro della Pergola (Florence) and so on. She has also performed in the Forbidden City (Beijing) and in all the major music halls of China.

Jin Ju has collaborated as a soloist with numerous orchestras. They include the BBC Orchestra, the Belgian National Orchestra, the Orchestra Philarmonique de Lìege (Belgium), the Oslo Symphony Orchestra, the South Africa New Philharmonic, the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Macao Symphony Orchestra, the Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, the Auckland Philarmonia Orchestra, the China National Symphony Orchestra, the Russian State Symphony Orchestra, the Wallonia Royal Chamber Orchestra and many other. In 2008, China’s state television (CCTV) has produced an extensive documentary dedicated entirely to her life and art, which has been broadcasted on China’s main national channels.  

Jin Ju’s integral recording of Debussy’s Etudes presented in a CD produced by Frame (Italy: www.quadroframe.com) has received enthusiastic reviews by the most important critics of specialised journals. Her recording of the Yellow River Piano Concert together with the Macao Symphony Orchestra has reached wide circulation in China where it has been added among the “first 10 world successes of classical music”.

Her interpretations of music by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and List have been recorded in a DVD published by Multigram Domo Video (www.domovideo.com).

Jin Ju is a faculty member at the Central Conservatory in Beijing. She has taught at the Royal Northern Music College in Manchester and has held numerous Master Classes in China, Europe and the United States. Presently she is professor at the International Piano Academy of Imola.

Her future engagements include a tour with the I Virtuosi Italiani (with whom she will perform Chopin’s two piano concerts), a tour of China, playing recitals and with the Macao Symphony Orchestra, and other tours and concerts in England, USA, Argentine, France and Germany.
